Sweet Briar is a collection of designs inspired by the bouquet of sweet briar roses, buds, leaf sprigs, and scrolling border in a nineteenth century tambour embroidered scarf. The little motifs are designs to be combined, mixed, matched, and reassembled in a variety of different ways. Sweet Briar Rose shown above: Rose and Buds, Satin, (sig 6605) with Solo Rose, Satin (sig 6612), Solo Bud, Satin (sig 6609), and Solo Leaf, Satin (sig 6610) embroidered on organdie, cut out, and added to the Rose and Buds as layers.
