Vintage lace and embroidered lacy linens offer spectacular and lovely designs. The pieces often are too rare and valuable to use as we would like -- or we would like to take inspiration from the designs and use them in new and creative ways. My particular interest was to have white-on-white embroideries on fine translucent fabrics to use in Normandy lace pieceworks. You might find the designs attractive for bridal fashions, decorating, quilting. These designs have been digitized by Cactus Punch, and are available for any format of sewing machine.
